Dogtown’s priority is the welfare of the pets in our care and to maintain client satisfaction. We aim to give you and your pet the best service we can.
It is important that the information you provide is correct and complete and you must make us aware of anything we need to know about your pet’s behaviour. Please advise us of any relevant changes each time you bring your pet in.
By registering with us, you confirm your agreement to these terms and conditions and that we may rely on the information provided.
We cannot proceed with the groom unless we received the registering form.
We will not share your details with other organisations. However, from time to time we will contact you by phone, text, email, or post with news, offers and service updates. We may also photograph or video your pet and use these images on our website or Facebook page. Please let us know if you do not wish to receive such information or do not want us to use images of your pet.
At the time of your pet’s appointment please ensure that they are fit and healthy and all vaccinations are up to date. Grooming of sick or elderly pets is entirely at the owner’s risk. Grooming may expose underlying skin or health problems that we cannot be held liable for, please contact your Vet for advice. Deposit for Appointment:
Please ensure your pets are adequately toileted. Dogtown may charge for the additional time required in cleaning up after your pet.
New Clients & Returning Clients.
To secure your appointment, we require a £20 deposit to be paid at the time of your booking, either over the phone, via email link or in person at one of our locations. Deposit are fully refundable provided the appointment is cancelled or changed with at least 24 hours notice. (Deposits are non - refundable/will not be eligilabe for a refund if you do not turn up for your appointment), this also depends on the size of the breed if your dog is Large or an XL breed a £40 deposit may be asked for.
We will also send you a registration form, which we must recieved back prior to your appointment or your appointment will be cancelled with SMS acknowledgement only.
If you arrive more than 20-25 mintures late for your appointment, we reselve the right to turn you away /refuse to groom that day, due to other clients bookings on that day.
The importance of collecting your dog on time after their groom:
We ask clients to collect their dog's as soon as possible after we have sent noticication (your dog is ready for collection) via Phone or SMS, whlist we do understand traffic, transport and Parking comes in to effect, however leaving you dog for longer than 30mins will not be acceptable and may incur a charge.
Dogtown operate a strict 48 hour cancallation policy.
Appointment cancellations/rebook will be charged at 50% of your normal appointment fee.
No Show (missed appointments) will be charged at the full price for your appointment.
Pets with extremely matted coats will require extra attention and will be charged extra. If we feel that de-matting your pet would cause too much stress and discomfort, we may recommend a complete clip down. This will dramatically change your pet’s appearance, as their hair will be short and close to the skin. Pets found with fleas will be charged an additional £10 for flea treatment shampoo.
If your pet becomes ill whilst in our care and we may need to call a Vet, unless it can be clearly shown that Dogtown are liable, all Vet costs shall be at the owners’ expense.
We have the right to refuse to groom a pet that presents a risk of injury to themselves or Dogtown’s staff or other customers.
Payment must be made on collection of your pet. We accept cash and major debit & credit cards; we do not accept cheques.
