Dogtown’s priority is the welfare of the pets in our care and to maintain client satisfaction. We aim to give you and your pet the best service we can.
It is important that the information you provide is correct and complete and you must make us aware of everything we need to know about your pet’s health and behaviour. Please advise us of any relevant changes each time you bring your pet in.
Dogtown operates a strict policy by registering you confirm your agreement to these terms and conditions and that we may rely on the information provided.
By registering with us, you are giving us your consent to contact organisations to obtain the relevant information we require to provide the right/correct treatment for your dog, e.g. (Veterinaries (Vets) or Specialists).
Photographs/Social-Media:
From time to time, we will contact you by phone, text, email, or post with news, offers and service updates. We may also photograph or video your pet to use these images on our website or social media. Please let us know if you do not wish to receive such information or do not wish us to use images of your pet.
No pet will be treated without a referral form completed by your veterinary surgeon, and we will also request their medical history to ensure we have the clinical information available to us. Whilst every care is taken to ensure the safety of your pet, all therapy treatment is entirely at the owners’ risk. All vaccinations must be up to date.
Pets are not to be fed 2 hours prior to their appointment and please ensure they are adequately toileted. Dogtown may charge an additional £140 fee for pets that defecate as we are required to close for health and safety requirements.
Appointment type and treatment will be agreed with the owners, the type /length of treatment may vary as this depends on the dog, condition and how they present at each appointment.
If your pet becomes ill whilst in our care, we may need to call a vet and unless it can be clearly shown that Dogtown are liable, all vet costs shall be at the owners’ expense.
We may refuse therapy treatment to any pet if we consider it inappropriate at that time.
Payment must be made at the end of each appointment or in advance if you commit to a treatment package. If your pet is unable to complete all appointments included in the treatment package, due to declining health, we will refund the pro-rata value of the unused appointments.
All treatment packages must be used within an 6 month period, if this has not done within the 6 months period, after this period unfortunately the unused credit will not be vaild and will not be able to be claimed back. (All requests for credit refunds must be sent to us in writing to: therapy@dogtown.uk.com) within the 6 months period. it is your responsibility to contact us accordingly to request for any outstanding credit on your account to be refunded.
We operate a strict 48 hour cancallation policy, missed appointments or late cancellations will incur a charge. Please notify us by Phone or Email if you need to rearrange or cancel your appointment.
Dogtown holds the right to cancel any appt at short notice.
You will receive a confirmation SMS of your appointment at the time of booking and a reminder of the appointment 72 hours before.
Sameday appointment cancellations/rebook will be charged at 50% of your normal appointment fee.
No Show (missed appointments) will be charged at the full price for your appointment.
Payment must be made on collection of your pet. We accept cash and major debit & credit cards.
